Roma has extended its unbeaten streak at home in Serie A this season to nine matches (W7, D2) following a 3-0 triumph over Pisa at the Stadio Olimpico. This result provides them with a four-point advantage over seventh-placed Atalanta, whom they will face next week.
Remarkably, none of Roma’s last 66 league encounters ended in a draw, and they wasted no time in asserting dominance, with Donyell Malen netting the opener just three minutes in with a dazzling solo run that left defender Adrian Semper with no chance.
Bryan Cristante nearly increased the lead shortly after, unleashing a powerful header from a corner that was brilliantly blocked as the Giallorossi dominated possession and created chances.

It wasn’t until the closing stages of the first half that they clinched their second goal, with Malen scoring again just before halftime after a well-timed pass from Devyne Rensch.
Lorenzo Pellegrini had already smashed a free-kick against the crossbar moments earlier, with Pisa struggling to contain the attacking prowess of the hosts.
Malthe Højholt missed a chance to reduce the lead early in the second half, but his shot from outside the box was comfortably saved by Mile Svilar.
This miss proved to be pivotal as Roma soon sealed the match, with Matías Soulé setting up Malen for his third goal, coolly finding the bottom corner again.
Pisa found themselves out of the contest, although Stefano Moreo did get another opportunity to test Svilar with a header following a free-kick.
In the final moments, Roma correctly eased off the pressure, allowing Pisa to look for a consolation; however, Rafiu Durosinmi’s long-range effort lacked the necessary power to trouble Svilar. This loss marks the 14th time Pisa have failed to score in a league match this season, leaving them rooted at the bottom of the table, facing relegation back to Serie B.
In stark contrast, Roma celebrated their 14th league victory without conceding, a feat only surpassed by Inter Milan (15), and they have maintained a perfect record against teams currently in the relegation zone (W5).
