The monthly nominees are determined using FotMob’s rating system. The players achieving the highest FotMob ratings (ranging from 0.0 to 10.0) throughout each voting period will be nominated for the Shark Player of the Month award.

For January, the eligibility period covered Rounds 11-15 of the Isuzu UTE A-League season, incorporating matches played from December 31 to January 22 as evaluated by the FotMob rating system.

To qualify for the top 10, players must have participated in a minimum of two matches during the eligibility timeframe to secure an average FotMob rating.
