The Broncos and NSW Blues will be anxiously awaiting the results of scans on prop Payne Haas, who is feared to have sustained a knee injury.
Haas exited the field during the first half of the game against the Tigers after suffering the injury in a tackle.
While making a run through the centre at Campbelltown Stadium, he found himself caught by three Tigers defenders who struggled to bring him down.
As he hit the ground, Royce Hunt grabbed Haas’ legs, causing him to fall awkwardly, with the weight of three players putting undue strain on his knee.
Haas remained on the turf visibly in discomfort but managed to rise and attempt to play the ball. However, he soon left the field after trying to shake off the injury.

“Oh no … right knee. A crumpled figure,” exclaimed Andrew Voss from Fox Sports as Haas lay on the ground.
Panthers legend Greg Alexander expressed concern over Haas remaining down, stating, “You don’t often see that … just got that knee bent on the inside.”
