Fans Reluctant to Embrace Unfiltered Craig Bellamy Documentary: ‘He Won’t Change’

Melbourne Storm sensation Eli Katoa believes NRL fans might not be fully prepared for the unvarnished portrayal of their legendary coach, Craig Bellamy.

In a groundbreaking move, Bellamy and the Storm have opened their doors to Stan’s cameras for the documentary titled Revealed – Craig Bellamy: Inside the Storm.

This exciting documentary is set to premiere on March 9, and you can catch the official trailer in the video player above.

“I’m not sure fans are ready for this, but they’re certainly keen to see what it’s all about,” Katoa shared with a chuckle on Wednesday.

“On game day, especially for us players, we’re excited to get a glimpse of it. It’s bound to be an exhilarating watch.”

This feature-length documentary, filmed throughout the 2024 NRL season, offers a unique glimpse into the inner workings of the Storm.

This documentary unveils the complexities of Bellamy’s character, showcasing the individual behind the intense persona seen during games.

When asked if Bellamy has been dishing out his famous sprays this pre-season, Katoa responded, “He hasn’t changed one bit; he’ll still let us have it and shout at us when necessary. That’s just who he is.”

The production features insights from other iconic coaches such as Ange Postecoglu and Craig McRae, NRL Immortal Andrew Johns, respected journalist Roy Masters, as well as Storm stars Cameron Munster and Harry Grant.

With an impressive 913 hours of footage, this documentary has crafted a compelling narrative.

“It’s been a real honour to share my story with Stan,” Bellamy expressed. “While this experience is quite new for me, I’m eager for fans to see not just another side of me, but also the Melbourne Storm as a whole.”
