South Korea, the upcoming rivals of Bafana Bafana, have announced their training schedule leading up to the 2026 World Cup, which features a preparatory camp in Salt Lake City, USA.
The Bafana Bafana will face the South Koreans in their last match in Guadalajara on June 24, the same location where South Korea will be based during the tournament.
Prior to this, they will conduct their camp in Salt Lake City, a location selected by coach Hong Myung-Bo due to its conditions that closely mirror those of Guadalajara, boasting an altitude of approximately 5,000 feet.
The South Korean team plans to depart for the United States on May 18, aiming to organise two friendly matches during their training period. They are scheduled to arrive in Guadalajara on June 5, just a week before their opening match against the Czech Republic in Zapopan on June 11.
Following their game with the Czechs, they will face Mexico in Zapopan on June 18, leading up to the encounter with Bafana Bafana.
