Gorden Tallis has reignited his ongoing dispute with the Broncos following a recent radio segment on Sunday, in which he discussed an incident involving a club staff member.
The former captain and premiership victor has long had a contentious relationship with Brisbane, with players like Adam Reynolds and coach Michael Maguire often in the line of fire.
Last month, Tallis had his name removed from a meeting room at the Broncos’ Red Hill facilities, sparking mixed reactions throughout the NRL community.
The latest episode in this ongoing saga unfolded after reports indicated that Tallis declined to shake hands with media manager Grant Williams during the Broncos’ encounter against the Titans, a team in which the “Raging Bull” has a financial stake, in round five.

The 52-year-old confirmed the confrontation on Triple M’s Sunday Sin Bin, delivering a light-hearted account of the events while standing firm on his position.
“Oh, what? I didn’t shake his hand, and that’s it,” Tallis remarked.
“But I did shake hands with Dave Donaghy. My wife even gave him a kiss. She was in the Broncos box, and I shook hands with board members too. What they don’t notice, right, is all of that.”

“Now I’m getting in trouble for what I didn’t do. That’s fine; I didn’t shake hands with someone.
“Let’s be honest here, a crisis manager [Williams] only has a job when the club is… well, there you have it. Maybe he’s just fabricating the story.
“Do you think it bothers me? No, not in the slightest.”
Williams, who previously worked in crisis management and was also part of the NRL’s media team before joining the Broncos last year, responded to the situation and expressed his disappointment in Tallis and the radio outlet for bringing the issue to light.
“I was extremely disappointed that Triple M permitted Gorden to discuss this matter on air in the way he did today,” he stated.
“It shouldn’t have been allowed, and Triple M understands the reasoning behind that.”
Tallis made 160 appearances for the Broncos and was awarded the 1998 Clive Churchill Medal.
