Gorden Tallis has reignited his ongoing feud with the Brisbane Broncos following a recent on-air revelation about a confrontation with a club staff member during a radio segment on Sunday.
The former captain and premiership-winning player has had a contentious relationship with Brisbane, with criticisms aimed at figures such as Adam Reynolds and Michael Maguire.
Last month, his name was removed from a meeting room at the Broncos’ Red Hill headquarters, which stirred varying opinions within NRL circles.
The latest development in this protracted saga stemmed from reports suggesting that Tallis declined to shake hands with media manager Grant Williams during the Broncos’ clash against the Titans—a team partly owned by the “Raging Bull”—in round five.

The 52-year-old addressed the incident on Triple M’s Sunday Sin Bin, offering a humorous perspective on his side of the story while justifying his actions.
“What? I didn’t shake his hand, and that’s the drama,” Tallis remarked.
“But I did shake hands with Dave Donaghy. My wife even gave him a kiss. She went into the Broncos box, and I shook hands with board members. They miss that part, right?”

“Now I’m in hot water for what I didn’t do. That’s fine; I didn’t shake someone’s hand.
“Let’s be clear, a crisis manager [Williams] only has a job when the club is in … there you go. Perhaps he’s just fabricating this.
“Do you really think I’m bothered? Not at all.”
Williams, who previously worked in crisis management and spent time in the NRL’s media department, joined the Broncos last year and has since remarked on his disappointment regarding the airing of the matter by Triple M.
“I was quite disappointed that Triple M allowed Gorden to address this issue on air today in such a manner,” he stated.
“It shouldn’t have been permitted, and Triple M is well aware of the reasons why.”
Tallis boasts an impressive record of 160 games for the Broncos and clinched the 1998 Clive Churchill Medal.
