Hawthorn will be anxiously awaiting the outcomes of two matches under review following their narrow triumph against Port Adelaide.
The game, played in exhilarating fashion at Marvel Stadium, culminated in a nail-biting finish.
With less than a minute remaining on the clock, Port Adelaide’s key forward Mitch Georgiades missed a set shot that could have given his team the lead, leading to a final score of 13.11 (89) to 13.8 (86) in favour of the Hawks.
Despite their fortunate escape, the Hawks now face potential scrutiny over two incidents involving their leaders.
Captain James Sicily and prominent forward Dylan Moore both conceded free kicks for strikes to the midsection of Port defender Logan Evans during the match.

This season, the AFL has taken a tough stance on body blows, with many incidents leading to mandatory one-match suspensions.
If that policy remains consistent, the Hawks may have to take the field against Gold Coast in Tasmania on Anzac Day without both veterans.
Moore might be able to present a defence, as he appears to make contact with Evans using an open hand rather than a fist. Sicily has also contested the free kick, claiming his contact was with Evans’ elbow and not the stomach.
“It’s incredibly frustrating to see acts of discipline failure or petulance like that, especially from players in leadership roles,” commented Hawthorn legend Jason Dunstall on Fox Footy.
“There’s a chance those players could be suspended for something relatively minor, and I wouldn’t blame them if they were. They are aware of the rules.”
Former West Coast coach Adam Simpson remarked: “That’s coming from your captain as well. Evans was the target in both cases. Perhaps he provoked a response.”

Concerns also centre on star forward Nick Watson, who sustained a thumb injury late in the match but managed to return after receiving treatment.
Watson proved to be pivotal in the Hawks’ victory, scoring five goals and demonstrating he is a genuine match-winner.
He had previously shown his prowess in a narrow win against Geelong on Easter Monday, where he netted three crucial goals from limited chances.
Port star Zak Butters put a controversial week behind him, having received a fine for umpire abuse the previous round, and made a strong impact with 35 disposals and a goal.
His teammate, Jason Horne-Francis, matched his performance with 28 touches and two goals.
For the Hawks, Jai Newcombe topped the disposals with 24, while Karl Amon, in his 200th game, contributed with 17 touches.
Currently, Hawthorn sits second on the ladder, just behind Sydney on percentage, with five wins from their first six matches.
In contrast, Port Adelaide finds itself in 11th place, having secured only two wins so far.
