As reported by Sky Sports Austria, Danish Under-21 international midfielder Clement Bischoff has been removed from Red Bull Salzburg’s senior squad for the remainder of the season following a dispute with Daniel Beichler during a training session.
Bischoff’s most recent appearance was during the 0-1 home loss to Rapid in mid-March. Subsequently, he was omitted from the matchday squad for the fixtures against Sturm Graz and Hartberg. During the home match against LASK last Friday, Salzburg confirmed that a disciplinary issue had occurred during training.
Both Bischoff and his management were notified that the suspension would last until the season’s conclusion, and he would no longer be permitted to train with the squad. Instead, the attacking midfielder will be required to train individually for the upcoming weeks.
The 20-year-old Dane transferred from Brøndby to Salzburg last summer but has faced challenges in securing a spot in the starting eleven. Over 24 competitive matches for Salzburg, Bischoff found the net twice and provided five assists.
