The Gold Coast Titans secured a 26-12 pre-season win over the Dolphins, but the victory was tarnished by an arm injury sustained by veteran playmaker Kieran Foran, who was promptly iced after the incident.
Foran’s arm became trapped when an opponent broke through a tackle, raising concerns over a possible biceps tear.
Fox League sideline reporter Jake Duke mentioned that the Titans deemed it too early to ascertain whether Foran’s injury involved his upper forearm or his biceps.

“The positive takeaway is that he still has some movement in his arm, which they hope indicates something favourable, but it’s too soon for a definitive assessment,” Duke reported.
Prior to the match kicking off, Foran was moved from the halves to the interchange bench to accommodate Jayden Campbell.
The 34-year-old is not contracted beyond this current season.
In addition, Titans prop Josiah Pahulu, who suffered a concussion, and Dolphins centre Jack Bostock, who suffered a knee injury, were also injured during the game.
After a disappointing loss to the Broncos on Sunday, the Titans managed to bounce back and maintain their lead over the Dolphins.

After being promoted to starting fullback, Keano Kini kicked off the scoring for the Titans in the eighth minute.
Kini capitalised on an offload, diving over from close range to secure the first try of the contest.
The Titans quickly built on their lead as Brimson chased down a grubber from his halves partner, Campbell.
The Dolphins hit back in the 23rd minute, with Nicholls charging over for a try from close range.
Pahulu departed the field after failing a head injury assessment just before Foran left late in the first half.

At halftime, Gold Coast was ahead 12-6, having completed 87 per cent of their sets.
The Titans picked up where they left off in the second half, with Sam Verrills creating space for Beau Fermor.
The Dolphins traded blows as Jake Averillo powered over on the left, keeping the game competitive.
With Kenny Bromwich in the sin bin for a professional foul, David Fifita scooped up the loose ball and offloaded it to Jojo Fifita, who scored in the right corner.
Brimson then sealed his second try of the night with a spectacular long-range effort.
In a rather odd incident, Bostock limped off with a right knee injury after inadvertently raising his leg above Jojo Fifita’s shoulder while contesting a high ball.
The Dolphins were awarded a penalty for the incident as Bostock exited the field, clearly in distress.
Nicholls completed his brace after gathering a grubber from Harrison Graham, further adding to the Dolphins’ tally.
