The Melbourne Storm’s captain, Harry Grant, will be sidelined for the Good Friday match against the Dolphins at Suncorp Stadium due to a hamstring injury sustained during training.
Grant has been omitted from coach Craig Bellamy’s match-day squad, with Bronson Garlick stepping in as the hooker. Kane Bradley has also been added to the bench.
During Nine’s NRL coverage on Thursday night, sideline reporter Danika Mason confirmed the injury but indicated that its severity remains uncertain.

As Melbourne prepares to take on a formidable Dolphins team, Storm great Cam Smith voiced his concerns about the impact of Grant’s absence.
“It’s important to note that this is the first time Harry Grant has missed a game in a considerable period,” he remarked during Nine’s coverage on Thursday night.
“It’s going to be a challenging match for the Storm.”
Additionally, the Dolphins will be without Jeremy Marshall-King, who is recovering from a laceration on his leg that he sustained while playing against Penrith last week.
The injury was significant enough to require 20 stitches to repair.
Kurt Donoghue will fill in for Marshall-King, and Ray Stone has been added to the bench.
