Sirius retains the lead in the Allsvenskan standings, still unbeaten this season, although their perfect start ended with a draw against Hacken. Meanwhile, Kalmar and Mjallby secured victories on a lively Monday evening.
Hacken 2-2 Sirius
Sirius fell short of achieving a fifth consecutive victory, yet an equaliser just four minutes from the end allowed them to maintain their unbeaten record. This result might feel like a triumph, especially against a Hacken squad that has claimed two wins and drawn three from their five matches thus far.
The hosts opened the scoring midway through the first half with a stunning 25-yard strike into the top corner from Mikkel Rygaard. Just before the break, they doubled their advantage when Brice Wembangomo set up Gustav Lindgren, who finished emphatically.
However, the Uppsala team reignited their hopes three minutes later thanks to Robbie Ure, who converted from close range. Following a significant amount of pressure in the second half, they finally levelled the score when Mohamed Soumah connected with a corner from Neo Jonsson to score with a header.
Kalmar 2-1 Elfsborg
Sirius has now extended their lead at the top to three points after Elfsborg suffered their first defeat of the 2026 season, going down 2-1 to Kalmar, who celebrated their inaugural win since being promoted.
The match began well for both teams as Frederik Ihler netted the opener within five minutes, courtesy of a pass from Taylor Silverholt. However, Kalmar responded just eight minutes later with Charlie Rosenqvist scoring his third goal of the season.
Charles Sagoe Jr provided the assist for the equaliser and was again instrumental for the winning goal just before the hour mark – his low cross found Anthony Olusanya, who cleverly got in front of his defender to score from six yards out. This triumph propels Kalmar out of the relegation zone, while Elfsborg remains in second place.
Mjallby 2-0 Halmstad
The reigning champions are steadily bouncing back from their sluggish start, now going three matches unbeaten after netting two goals in the second half to overcome Halmstad, who now sit at the bottom of the table.
Mjallby broke the deadlock 11 minutes after the restart when the visiting goalkeeper misjudged a high ball, leading to Jacob Bergstrom pouncing on the loose ball to tap it into an empty net.
With just six minutes left on the clock, the home team sealed the victory when Olle Lindberg set up Villiam Granath, who scored his first league goal for Mjallby against his former club. Mjallby now sits on seven points, whilst Halmstad has recorded one draw and four defeats thus far this season.
Orgryte 1-1 Degerfors
In the final match of the day, Orgryte and Degerfors shared the spoils, with the hosts breaking a streak of two losses while the visitors enjoyed back-to-back unbeaten matches for the first time this season.
Degerfors believed they had secured victory when they took the lead with a quarter of the match remaining – exceptional play by Nahom Girmai set up Gideon Yiriyon for the finish. However, as the game entered the last ten minutes, Nasiru Moro fouled Noah Christoffersson in the area.
Tobias Sana confidently stepped up to convert the penalty, ensuring Orgryte maintained a two-point cushion above the relegation zone, while Degerfors retained their position in the top half of the standings.
