Cole Palmer has firmly stated that he has “no plans to leave Chelsea” amidst speculation linking him with a return to Manchester.
The 23-year-old has recently been associated with a high-profile move to Man United, with reports indicating he longs for his hometown.
Despite battling a few injury setbacks this season, Palmer has found the net nine times and provided one assist across his 21 appearances in the Premier League.
In a conversation with The Guardian, Palmer reiterated his commitment to Chelsea and expressed enthusiasm about the potential signings this summer.
Responding to the transfer rumours, he remarked: “People love to talk.”
“I just chuckle when I see them. Naturally, Manchester is my home, with all my family there, but I don’t really miss it. Maybe a bit if I haven’t returned for three months, but when I do get home, I think there’s nothing for me there anyway.”
“I have no intention of leaving Chelsea. We have plenty to play for, including the FA Cup semi-final (against Leeds), and securing a Champions League spot would put us in a strong position to attract the right players.”

“We have consulted with the owners, and they are confident in the players who will contribute. Reece wouldn’t have signed a six-year contract without discussions with the owners and directors.
“Reece and I have talked extensively about what we need, the players we should sign, and how things should progress. He wouldn’t have committed to a new deal if he wasn’t clear on the direction we’re heading.”
