Anthony Gordon will be absent from Newcastle’s match against Arsenal this Saturday evening due to a hip injury.
The English winger also sat out last week’s defeat to Bournemouth because of this injury. Although manager Eddie Howe has downplayed the severity of the issue, Gordon will not be making the trip to the Emirates Stadium.
In other news, Chelsea’s rising star Estevao will miss the FA Cup semi-final against Leeds due to a serious hamstring problem, and Rodri is sidelined for Manchester City’s encounter at Wembley with Southampton.
