Rangers staged a remarkable comeback from two goals down to revive their Scottish Premiership title ambitions, clinching a thrilling 6-3 victory against Falkirk on Sunday.
Under the guidance of Danny Rohl, Rangers found themselves trailing after a dismal first-half display, with goals from Ben Broggio and Finn Yeats leaving them in a precarious position.
However, Tochi Chukwuani reignited Rangers’ hopes by scoring a contentious goal just before the end of the first half.
Three goals in a quickfire 11 minutes at the start of the second half swung momentum decisively in Rangers’ favour.
Youssef Chermiti brought the scores level, followed by Nicolas Raskin who nudged Rangers ahead, with Bojan Miovski adding the visitors’ fourth shortly thereafter.
Despite Calvin Miller’s penalty attempt failing to unsettle Rangers, Chermiti and Miovski struck again, solidifying the victory.
With Hearts and Celtic both winning on Saturday, Rangers were under pressure to match their title contenders.
They delivered, now sitting just one point behind league leaders Hearts and two points clear of third-placed Celtic as the title race heads into an exhilarating climax.
Rangers haven’t clinched the championship since 2021, while Hearts are on a quest to dethrone the reigning champions Celtic by securing their first Scottish title since 1960.
The jubilant victory for Rangers stood in stark contrast to their previous encounter at Falkirk in October, which ended in a 1-1 draw and marked the end of Russell Martin’s troubled tenure, necessitating police protection due to fan unrest.
Rohl has brought new energy to Rangers, although his impact was hard to see as Falkirk took the lead just six minutes in.
Miller delivered a low cross that found Broggio, who exploited careless marking from Rangers to score from close range.

Falkirk then extended their advantage in the 26th minute when Yeats unleashed a powerful strike from the edge of the box that found the back of the net.
Chukwuani gave Rangers a glimmer of hope in the 42nd minute in a bizarre episode.
He slotted the ball home from close range after Falkirk players stopped in their tracks, mistakenly believing a cross had gone out of play. However, the ball was headed onto the post and fell right back into Chukwuani’s path.
VAR reviewed the situation, but ultimately Chukwuani was allowed to celebrate as the replays offered no conclusive evidence to overturn the goal.
Chermiti levelled for Rangers with a straightforward finish from a Djeidi Gassama cross in the 47th minute.
Rangers completed their comeback just five minutes later.
Raskin collected the ball 20 yards from goal, blasting a spectacular shot into the far corner before leaping into the stands, inadvertently colliding with a delighted Rangers supporter in the process.
Despite the mishap, Raskin remained on the field and was pivotal during Rangers’ electric period that resulted in their fourth goal in the 58th minute.
Miovski converted Raskin’s pinpoint delivery from close range.
Miller gave Falkirk a lifeline by scoring from the penalty spot in the 70th minute following a foul by James Tavernier on Filip Lissah.
Nevertheless, Chermiti quelled Rangers’ nerves just four minutes later with a thundering effort from the edge of the box, followed by Miovski’s tap-in for Rangers’ sixth in the 88th minute.
