Feyenoord midfielder Luciano Valente had to exit the public training session on Tuesday due to a suspected groin injury.
The 22-year-old player has remained largely unscathed amid the injury crisis affecting Robin van Persie’s squad, having appeared in 38 matches across all competitions and missing only two due to suspensions.
Valente departed Tuesday’s training session while clutching his upper leg near the groin area. The club has yet to release any updates regarding the extent of his injury.

The Italian-Dutch midfielder has been included in Ronald Koeman’s last two squad selections for the Netherlands and is a strong candidate for the upcoming FIFA World Cup taking place in Canada, Mexico, and the United States.
Koeman recently witnessed PSV captain Jerdy Schouten suffer a torn ACL in the Eredivisie champions’ thrilling 4-3 victory over FC Utrecht last weekend, preventing him from participating in the tournament.
This season, Luciano Valente has made 38 appearances for Feyenoord, netting three goals and providing seven assists.
