After scoring just one goal in their previous 11 outings, Brøndby rediscovered their scoring prowess on Friday night, with a stunning 6-0 victory over SønderjyskE in front of an ecstatic crowd in Copenhagen.
Brøndby marked their return to form with an emphatic win, breaking free from a challenging spell that had left them positioned sixth in the Danish Superliga. The home side netted six goals without reply against SønderjyskE.
After VAR intervention denied Brøndby an opening goal for offside just 14 minutes in, the hosts eventually broke the deadlock in the 25th minute. Mats Köhlert delivered a long ball that Jacob Ambaek headed beyond SønderjyskE goalkeeper Nicolai Flø, leaving him with no chance.
Brøndby doubled their advantage shortly after, following another assist from Köhlert, which allowed Ambaek to tap the ball home with ease.

Just before half-time, Brøndby increased their lead to three goals. A mishit shot from Fukuda fell kindly for Nicolai Vallys, who made no mistake in finding the back of the net.
Eight minutes after the break, Ambaek completed his hat-trick, connecting expertly with a volley from Mads Frøkjaer’s cross to extend the score to 4-0.
In the 57th minute, Ben Godfrey found himself free in the SønderjyskE penalty area and made it 5-0. Fukuda then capped off a fantastic evening for Brøndby with the sixth goal, finding space to the left of Flø after Frøkjaer had carved open the defence with another brilliant pass.
