Participants can now secure a number for the 2025 Motorsport Australia Off Road Championship (AORC) season.
As in prior years, competitors don’t need to be officially registered for the championship to earn points at any of this year’s rounds. However, a number reservation is essential to run specific digits of their preference.
To obtain a championship number, competitors must complete a registration form by Sunday, 23 February. Failing to do so will result in a random number assignment within their class, with their preferred number subsequently becoming available for public selection.
Consistency remains a highlight of the 2025 AORC season, as teams will participate in the same five rounds as last year.
Kicking off in April, the Pooncarie Desert Dash in New South Wales’ Wentworth Shire will once again host the opening event, followed by the legendary Tatts Finke Desert Race in June.

The Loveday 400 in South Australia will serve as the mid-season highlight in July, while the Gold City 450 in Queensland will be the second last round in late August.
Wrapping up the year, the Kalgoorlie Desert Race in Western Australia will take centre stage in October.
Participants who do not plan to take part in the opening round at Pooncarie are not obliged to register their number before the season opener. However, they must register prior to entering their first event of the year if they wish to secure their chosen number.
