FC Midtjylland’s pivotal players, Phillip Billing and Junior Brumado, may not return this season, according to coach Mike Tullberg in an interview with Viaplay.
FC Midtjylland has been missing midfielder Philip Billing in recent weeks due to complications with his Achilles tendon.
The 29-year-old is expected to be sidelined for the foreseeable future, as confirmed by Mike Tullberg.
Similarly, Junior Brumado is also facing injury issues and was unavailable for the recent clash against Sonderjyske.
“It is certainly possible that they could miss the remainder of the season. While I’m neither a doctor nor a physiotherapist, the fact that we haven’t made any official announcements indicates they aren’t fit to play.”
“We’ll have to see if our medical team can work some magic, but at this moment, it doesn’t look promising for their return,” the head coach added.
With seven matches left in the Danish Superliga, FC Midtjylland finds itself seven points adrift of league leaders AGF.
