Jagarinec’s nomination for the November award was part of the monthly nomination process facilitated by Football Coaches Australia.
The Australian Professional Leagues (APL) partnered with the FCA during the 2022-23 season to empower fans to have a significant say in acknowledging exceptional coaching performances within both the Ninja A-League Women and the Isuzu UTE A-League Men.
An experienced panel established by the FCA is responsible for selecting the monthly nominees for Coach of the Month in each league, with fans ultimately deciding the winner from the chosen nominees through a voting process.
The January eligibility timeframe encompassed Rounds 9 to 12 of the Ninja A-League season, where results from December 31 to January 21 were taken into account by the FCA Panel for the voting process for the Coach of the Month nominations.
Jagarinec found himself in the company of Melbourne Victory’s head coach Jeff Hopkins, Michael Matricciani from Melbourne City, and Adelaide United’s Adrian Stenta, having overseen two victories, one loss, and one draw throughout the opening month of the 2024-25 season.
During the eligibility period, Jagarinec guided his team through four matches, achieving three wins and only one loss, significantly boosting their chances of making the top six.
