Amad Diallo, the winger for Manchester United, asserts that interim manager Michael Carrick is the ideal candidate to lead the club permanently in the Premier League.
Since stepping in after Ruben Amorim’s exit in January, Carrick has led the team to seven victories in ten games, suffering only one loss.
Under the guidance of the former United and England midfielder, the club from Old Trafford is seemingly on track for a Champions League return next season, currently sitting in third place in the Premier League with seven matches left to play.

“From my perspective, he is the right man for the job. He possesses a wealth of experience, understands the club, and embodies its essence. He has a great rapport with every player,” said Amad, who represents the Ivory Coast, during a press conference on Tuesday.
“A manager like him can truly elevate the club to where it should be. It’s not up to the players to make that decision, but honestly, we feel fortunate to have Michael Carrick at the helm.”
Forward Bryan Mbeumo, who joined from Brentford last year, shared similar thoughts, noting that players have had a “positive experience” working with Carrick.
“He knows how to communicate with us and we aim to learn as much as we can from him. Working with him has been easier as he is familiar with the environment. It’s been fantastic to be under his guidance,” Mbeumo added.
Next up, Manchester United will welcome Leeds in a league fixture on April 13.
