Each month, the ten nominated players are chosen based on the FotMob rating system. The players who achieve the highest ratings (ranging from 0.0 to 10.0) during the voting period will make the cut for the Shark Player of the Month nominations.
The eligibility timeframe for April encompasses Rounds 23-26 of the Isuzu UTE A-League, with matches played between April 2 and April 26 taken into account for the FotMob ratings.
To qualify for the top ten, players must have made a minimum of two appearances during this period to obtain an average FotMob rating.
