His surprising sacking came after Flamengo’s resounding 8-0 victory against Madureira RJ, amid allegations that he had been approached by BlueCo for a managerial role.
It has been revealed that Felipe Luis initially believed he was in discussions to succeed Enzo Maresca, only to later discover that the interviews were actually for a position at Strasbourg, leading him to withdraw from consideration.
As reported by The Mirror, Felipe Luis, who had a brief stint as a player at Chelsea, is now being considered to take charge of the club.
