Sydney FC midfielder Hana Lowry has secured a transfer to Norwegian side Vålerenga for an undisclosed sum.
Upon her arrival in Norway, Lowry will commence training right away, as the Scandinavian football season is already in progress.
The 22-year-old featured for two seasons with the Sky Blues and earned a call-up to the Matildas last year before a knee injury forced her to withdraw.

“This is an incredibly exciting opportunity for me, and I am very thankful to Sydney FC,” Lowry remarked.
“I can’t wait to challenge myself in a new league, immerse myself in a different football culture, and continue to enhance my understanding of the game.”
“The past two seasons have been challenging due to injuries, but I am grateful for every chance I’ve had to play for the club.
