Les Kiss, the coach poised to lead the Wallabies, has temporarily put to rest his critics by steering the Queensland Reds to a surprise 31-26 victory over the reigning champions, the Crusaders.
Under pressure after witnessing his team concede an astonishing 94 points in consecutive defeats to the Hurricanes and the Western Force, Reds head coach Kiss managed to rally his squad, presenting a memorable occasion for Filipo Daugunu as he celebrated his 100th Super Rugby appearance.

“We showed resilience,” Kiss stated in an interview with Stan Sport.
Wallabies playmaker Carter Gordon also posted a remarkable try following a long kick from Wallabies captain Harry Wilson.
“What an incredible moment that was!” exclaimed Tim Horan on Stan Sport.

Unfortunately, Gordon could not finish the match and was seen using crutches at Suncorp Stadium.
The Reds have yet to confirm the severity of his injury.
Nevertheless, Queensland are celebrating a significant victory, marking their first win over the Crusaders at home since the 2011 grand final in Brisbane.
Numerous heroes from that victorious side were present to commemorate the 15th anniversary of that landmark win.
With this victory, the Reds now sit fifth on the ladder, three points clear of the Crusaders, who are positioned sixth.
The top six teams will proceed to the finals, and Queensland will enjoy a bye next weekend.
