Ben Hunt has played down any worries regarding star halfback Adam Reynolds after he exited the field due to a shoulder injury during the match against the Bulldogs.
The Broncos captain delivered a remarkable performance, guiding his team to a formidable 42-18 triumph over an undefeated Bulldogs side at Suncorp Stadium.
Concern quickly arose, however, when Reynolds fell in the in-goal area, clutching his shoulder following a try.
It was a troubling sight for viewers, particularly given Reynolds’ previous shoulder injuries, leaving coach Michael Maguire anxious about the condition of his star player.
Commentator Cameron Smith instantly speculated that Reynolds might have sustained an AC joint injury. Fortunately, after a brief assessment, the halfback rejoined the game.
Though he initially showed no signs of pain, Reynolds ultimately departed the field in the 74th minute, cradling his arm.

“He’s fine; he just wanted to clock off early, the old fella,” Hunt joked when asked about his teammate’s condition on Nine.
“I’m just pushing through it out here.”
Nevertheless, Reynolds later admitted he was “a little bit sore” towards the final stages of the second half and experienced numbness in his shoulder.
“I felt pins and needles, and it went a bit dead, which isn’t great when you’re out there,” he relayed to Nine.
“I’m not certain [if it popped out after scoring]. I just stretched it back and it didn’t seem too bad.

“I think everyone is dealing with their own bumps and bruises,” he added during his post-match press conference.
“I just want to be out there competing with my team. Tonight was no different.”
