As reported by Sky Sports Austria, Danish Under-21 international midfielder Clement Bischoff has been removed from Red Bull Salzburg’s senior squad for the remainder of the season following a training ground disagreement with Daniel Beichler.
Bischoff’s most recent appearance was in a 0-1 home loss to Rapid in mid-March. Since then, he has not featured in the matchday squad for encounters against Sturm Graz and Hartberg. During the recent home fixture against LASK, Salzburg confirmed that there had been a disciplinary issue during training.
Bischoff and his representatives were notified that his suspension would extend through the season, prohibiting him from participating in team training. Instead, the attacking midfielder will train individually for the upcoming weeks.
The 20-year-old Dane made the move from Brondby to Salzburg last summer but has found it challenging to secure a place in the starting eleven. Across 24 competitive matches for Salzburg, Bischoff has netted twice and provided five assists.
