Nineteen-year-old defender Yoram Zague, who was loaned from PSG to FC Copenhagen, has been sentenced to 20 days in prison after being found guilty of reckless driving in Denmark’s capital.
As part of the sentence, Zague has also been stripped of his driver’s licence for three years and has received a warning regarding potential expulsion from Denmark.
Currently on loan at Belgian club Eupen, Zague was caught driving at 104 km/h in a 50 km/h area on Sjaellandsbroen in Copenhagen back in December 2025.
Following the incident, FC Copenhagen terminated Zague’s loan contract on 31 January 2026.
During his time at FC Copenhagen, he made 15 appearances and netted two goals before his loan was cut short.
Yoram Zague left the courtroom promptly and chose not to comment on the matter. In May of last year, FC Copenhagen’s Rodrigo Huecas received a similar sentence for reckless driving, which also resulted in 20 days’ unconditional imprisonment, during which he wore an ankle monitor.
