Nineteen-year-old defender Yoram Zague, who was previously on loan from PSG to FC Copenhagen, has been sentenced to 20 days in prison after being found guilty of reckless driving in the Danish capital.
The court’s ruling also entails an automatic three-year revocation of his driver’s licence, along with a stern warning regarding potential expulsion from Denmark.
Currently on loan at Belgian club Eupen, Zague was reported to have been driving at 104 km/h in a 50 km/h zone on Sjaellandsbroen in Copenhagen back in December 2025.
In the wake of the incident, FC Copenhagen terminated Zague’s loan agreement on January 31, 2026.
During his time at FC Copenhagen, the defender featured in 15 matches and found the net on two occasions before his loan was cut short.
Zague promptly exited the courtroom without offering any remarks on the situation. In May of the previous year, FC Copenhagen’s Rodrigo Huecas faced similar repercussions for reckless driving, also receiving a 20-day unconditional prison sentence, which he served while under an ankle monitor.
